Knitting Book

I bought this toy pattern book quite a while ago, but hadn't used it until recently. I've done two projects so far (well, one and three-quarters). The piggy pattern said to make 2 legs. He needs four. The Scottie pattern has you make all the separate pieces and then sew them together. Even though you make the tail, the directions don't tell you to attach it to the rest of the Scottie. Two projects, and both are incorrect. How am I supposed to make these things if the book is wrong??? Just wondering. Good thing I have Sis to get answers from when I need them!
